A little bit about me….

 

I am currently in the final semester of my degree at Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts program concentrated in Writing, Editing, and Media. Prior to beginning my program at FSU, I completed an Associate of Science Degree in Fashion Merchandising Management at The Fashion Institute of Technology. I know, it’s an odd combination but this was exactly the kind of unique learning experience I was going for.

 

While at The Fashion Institute, I had the amazing opportunity of interning with renowned American label, Ralph Lauren. During this ten-month span, I worked closely with the marketing and specialty sales representatives, gaining an inside perspective on the inner workings of such a large fashion corporation.

 

I later spent the summer of 2014 interning with Cosmopolitan Magazine in their fashion department, where I was able to assist fashion editors on a variety of daily projects and help to run the fashion closet.

 

Additionally, I have worked as a contributing writer for several fashion publications, both print and digital.  I have assembled several samples of my published works under the writing samples tab, along with my resume in its entirety.
