A “Modical” Collaboration

We were first introduced to her in our favorite holiday comedy, Elf, and later fell in love with her quirky character on New Girl, actress Zooey Deschanel is tackling a unique new endeavor, this time in the world of fashion. She’s channeling her retro style in the upcoming collaboration with iconic American designer, Tommy Hilfiger.

Zooey’s lifelong love of fashion and trendsetting style is coming to life in the cool new line, which consists of 16 looks Zooey describes as simply “mod-ical.” The styles are very much inspired by the fashion of the 60’s, featuring an array of vintage pieces including sleeveless shift dresses, some adorned with dainty peter-pan collars, and others with girly pleated skirts. Along with the retro silhouettes, pieces from the line feature Hilfiger’s famous color pallet, consisting of navy blue, bright red, and white. The collaboration also includes some seaworthy accessories such as a blue and red lux cross-body bag, a wheel pendant necklace, and a gold seashell charm bracelet.

Items from the line are very moderately priced, ranging from as low as $35 up to $199. You can shop the collection exclusively at Macy’s and Tommy.com starting April 15th.
